The Brief

This thoughtfully integrated pool and outdoor entertaining area in Berry on the South Coast was designed to flow seamlessly from the existing home, despite the challenges of a sloping block. Hardwood decking surrounds the pool and extends to a covered BBQ area, with a pitched roof reflecting the architecture of the house. A custom concrete bench incorporates a built-in BBQ and freestanding fridge, creating a practical entertaining zone. In-floor pool cleaning provides low-maintenance functionality, while a full-length bench seat offers a place to relax and enjoy sweeping escarpment views across the surrounding rural landscape and cattle-dotted paddocks.
